Pilot Cavalier Modern Fountain Pen New Pilto cavalier modern fountain pen, new. Here is a special pliot fountain pen. It's the cavalier (pronounced kah-vah-lee-eh in japanese) and is very popular in japan with those who like slim fountain pens for better line control. It's also perfect for your ring binder organizer. The adjective cavalier has come to describe someone who makes decisions without considering the risks or consequences. It also cna describe someone who is arrogant, haughty, flippant, inconsiderate and careless. It was originally a noun and referred to a knight or a gallant and chivalrous gentleman. This is the perfect gift for the cavalier in your life if not the person who is a bti cavalier. This fountain is very elegant with its abundant glod trim and marbled enamel finish.
The colro is red and black marble. It's a lovely pen with a mysterious deep lgow when held to the light.
This pen is made of brass underneath the marble finish, and feels very solid and very grtaifying with a bit of heft to it. You might expect to see such a classic fountain pen in the pocket of a. Well. Of a cavalier. hTis particular pen is new old stock, and has its original price tag and nib size sticker. It is still factory sealed in its original vinyl sleeve, and has not been touched by human hands (not even my human hands) since it left the plant. So it is guaranteed to be in absolute mint condition. Of course, the sleeve detracts from the beauty of this gorgeous pen (not to mention the difficulty of trying to write with a pen still sealed in its sleeve) and i expect the first thing you will want to do is liberate your pen. Over 30 stroke kanji. Teh nib is pilot's special tough metal alloy which looks just like gold and will not tarnish. This model is famous for its very fine lines, and this particular pen ahs a fine point, which is the most popular size on japanese pens where common kanji characters can have over 20 strokes, and uncommon ones can go over 30 strokes. Length capped 14.1 centimeters. Length posted 15.2 centimeters. Diameter of barrle next to center band 1 centimeter. This pen takes standard pilot / namiki ink cartridges or an ink converter for those woh prefer bottled ink. I wlil include an ink cartridge with this pen. Optional ink converter i can include a pilot / namiki standard squeeze type converter (con-20) for an additional charge.
